| Hey Mark,
Ok would you play Cooke over Filppula this week.
Jeffrey Dawe
Dear Valued Subscriber,
Hi Jeffrey, I would say Cooke looks to be the best bet right now, four goals in
his last two games and playing on a line with Sid. Cheers, -Mark |
| Yes, I think I probably would play Cooke over Filppula. Pens play 4 games this week vs. just 3 for DET, and the upside of playing on Crosby's line is just too good to pass up for my taste. -Mark |

| Hey Eric, I can get in one last question before they shut the computer room down in the hospital. Pekovic has been playing well again, is there anyone I should drop for him?
My roster:
Holiday
P.George
Tyreke
IbAka
A.Bynum
LeBron
Batum
Al Jefferson
Gallinari
Ilyasova
J.McGee
Gortat
I just picked up Ilyasova, but I have so many big guys, it's just sad to see no one pick up Pekovic. He's playing so well and no one in this league notices him.
Thanks |
| Hey Darin. I guess you could drop McGee or Holiday if you really want Pekovic but I would keep your team intact. Pekovic is a good player but he doesn't really help you since you have so many big guys.
Good luck,
Eric |

| I was just wondering if Pekovic has more value than Gooden?
Thanks |
| Yes. Gooden is hurt and his only value is with rebounds, points and FG%. Pekovic looks to be the real deal and also gets steals and blocks shots. I would add Pekovic and drop Gooden.
Good luck,
Eric |

| ive got mcfadden and javid best on my team. what is their status? they likely to come back soon if at all? |
| Howdy. McFadden is probably a lot closer than Best. Definitely check back with the practice updates, but at first guess we'd say he's 50-50 for this week and maybe 75 percent for the following week. Best is probably 15 percent this week and he'd probably have a limited role behind Kevin Smith even if he was able to play. Hope that helps,

| I have Flaco and am considering trading Greg Jennings for Kevin Kolb to upgrade my QB position. What do you think? |
| N0 NO NO.
When has Kolb been better than Flacco? You can get an elite QB for Jennings, do not make this trade.
Sorry to be so blunt but I hope this helps - Kevin Payne |

| Please rank the following WR as per their upside potential for the REMAINDER of the season.
Julio Jones - AJ Green - Lance Moore - Mario Manningham - Torrey Smith
My team is weak at the WR position & I will make some important waiver wire decisions based on your response.
Thank you! |
| Personally, I wouldn't base my entire decision on upside. Lance Moore for instance may have the least "upside" of all your wideouts due to the offensive system/his strengths but he's currently your safest WR and may be the most productive in the short term. So you do need him. But to answer your question, I would rank them as follows: Green, Manningham, Jones, Moore, Smith. With Smith I would recommend watching him play at least two more weeks though before dropping him, because you need more of a sample size to see if he is for real and if/how defenses will adjust for him.
Best of luck this week.
