Today is like Christmas for NFL teams. Some teams will have their stockings stuffed with gifts, and some with coal. Until today, I have undertook the impossible practice of predicting the picks without trades. Today, I make an even more ridiculous prediction by trying to predict the trades that will happen in tonight's first round of the NFL Draft. Enjoy the craziness that follows. It'll make tonight seem rather tame. The Green means a team traded up to that spot, the pale red means the team traded down. All in all there were five trades predicted.

Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank has found an offensive guru for Michael Vick. The Falcons on Sunday night lured coach Bobby Petrino away from Louisville. Terms were not disclosed, but the NFL Network is reporting that Petrino agreed to a five-year contract worth $24 million to coach the Falcons. Just six months ago, Petrino signed a 10-year contract extension worth $25.5 million with Louisville.
Petrino is best known for his innovative passing game which featured quarterbacks Brian Brohm and Stefan LeFors. Louisville's offense finished in the top 10 nationally in each of Petrino's four campaigns.

The Falcons have high expectations heading into the 2005 season after making it to the NFC Championship the previous year but their travels through the NFC figure to be much difficult. Last year's regular season schedule only encompassed three teams with a winning record. The key to Super Bowl aspirations will be the offensive line and a passing game that was listless last season.
