Paul Menard (Sprint Cup)
Following the fireworks and fanfare that are synonymous with the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, Menard lined up in the seventh position to take the green flag and drove the CertainTeed Insulation/Menards Chevrolet to a 16th-place result in Saturday night’s non-points affair at Charlotte Motor Speedway, rcrracing.com reports.
Marcos Ambrose (Sprint Cup)
Ambrose started his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway from the 18th position. Restarting the final 10-lap shootout in the fourth spot, Ambrose was able to gain one position on Lap 82 before getting shuffled back to seventh when the checkered flag flew on Lap 90, richardpettymotorsports.com reports.
