Weekly Hitter Rankings: The Artful Dodgers

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

Usually, it's preferred to use bats in their home venues, unless one of the road stop is Coors Field. Such is the case for the Dodgers, who open the week in the desert before jetting to a four-game set with the Rockies. The visitors are slated to face four Colorado right-handers, setting the likes of Joc Pederson, Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger up for huge weeks, especially since the Dodgers will miss German Marquez.

The Dodgers and Rockies are two of only eight teams with the full monty, joining the Diamondbacks, Braves, Cubs, Mets, Phillies and Giants. San Francisco is the only club at home all week while the Braves join the Dodgers spending the entire week ordering room service.

Six squads play only five games, including the Orioles, Reds, Padres, Cardinals, Red Sox and Yankees. The latter pair have Thursday and Friday off in advance of their historic two-game set at London Stadium. The venue features artificial turf and appears to favor batters.

Please stop back Sunday night for the final rankings after pitching plans are firmed up over the weekend.

For the week June 24-30.
