Weekly Hitter Rankings: Everything Is Bigger in Texas

This article is part of our Weekly Hitter Rankings series.

A Tuesday twin bill sets the Rangers up for a big week with eight games against the make shift Angels and White Sox staffs. Ten clubs have seven games, headed by the other Lone Star representative as the Astros are home all week.

As discussed in this week's Z Files, the Rays have a rough remaining schedule in terms of opposing pitching. However, the upcoming week is rather soft with the Mariner and Orioles on the docket, including lining up to face four southpaws.

Speaking of which, the Angels sync up with five lefties. This is good for Albert Pujols. Shohei Ohtani? Not so much.

Boston embarks on the first of consecutive five-game weeks. Joining Boston with a pair of off days are the Athletics, Phillies and Giants.

As is the custom, an update will be posted Sunday night, capturing the changes to the current pitching plans.

For the week Aug. 19-25.
