Giles reiterated Wednesday in an interview with Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca that he hopes to reach an agreement with Toronto on a contract extension that would keep him with the Blue Jays beyond the 2020 season. "Nothing has changed on that front," Giles said, regarding his desire to remain in Toronto. "If those talks do ever happen, I'm all ears, but we're focused on other things right now. I'm just focused on the season right now."
