FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

POINT GUARD

Darren Collison, IND at DAL ($6,800): Collison has filled a significant chunk of the offensive void left behind by Victor Oladipo's knee injury, averaging 15.2 PPG, 3.5 RPG and 7.7 APG over the past six games. The veteran guard will continue to be tasked with running the Pacers' offense here, making Collison an appealing option at his sub-$7,000 price.

Tyus Jones, MIN at ATL ($5,300): Jones has scored 37.1 and 39.2 fantasy points in his last two games, with regular starting point guard Jeff Teague sitting out the latter due to a knee injury. While Jones will be a can't-miss option as the starter if Teague sits, he has plenty of value against the league's worst defensive team even if his questionable teammate suits up.

SHOOTING GUARD

D'Angelo Russell, BKN vs. WAS ($9,100): After averaging 23.8 PPG, 3.9 RPG and 7.3 APG in 15 January contests, Russell has stepped things up even further with 25.8 PPG, 3.8 RPG and 8.1 APG through nine appearances in February. Those are superstar numbers, and Russell has a great chance to outperform his recent averages against a Wizards team that's made far worse players look like stars by allowing 117.0 points per game this season -- second-most in the league.

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL at SAC ($6,400): Brogdon has been a consistent source of offense over the past 10 games, dipping below 15 points and 28.7 fantasy points only once. His high floor makes it tough to go wrong with Brogdon here, but his ceiling also gets a boost from a favorable matchup against a Kings team that surrenders 114.8 points per game -- fifth-most in the league.

SMALL FORWARD

Brandon Ingram, LAL vs. NO ($6,900): Ingram's been on a tear coming out of the All-Star break, pouring in 29.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG and 2.7 APG in three subsequent games. That includes 29 points in just 26 minutes Saturday in New Orleans, and Ingram's primed to replicate or improve on that effort in this home rematch against a Pelicans club that's surrendering the fourth-most points per game in the league (115.0).

Joe Ingles, UTA vs. LAC ($5,800): Ingles has scored at least 35.0 fantasy points four times in the past seven games, showing that he's more than just a sharpshooter with 5.0 RPG and 7.3 APG in those four contests. While he's able to supplement his scoring with secondary stats, the majority of Ingles' value should still come from putting the ball in the basket against a leaky Clippers defense that's surrendering 113.8 points per game.

POWER FORWARD

Kenneth Faried, HOU at CHA ($6,700): Faried has revitalized his career with the Rockets, racking up 10 double-doubles in his last 13 games while adding 10 steals and 15 blocks over the past 14. The Manimal should post a strong performance as usual in both points and rebounds, plus he gets an ideal opportunity to pad his block total against a Hornets team that gets blocked more than any other in the league at 6.3 per game.

Lauri Markkanen, CHI at MEM ($9,400): Markkanen's posted some gaudy stat lines recently, averaging 24.0 PPG and 12.8 RPG over his past 13 games. While Memphis has a reputation for being stingy defensively, the Grizzlies are currently battling the injury bug in the front court, so Markkanen should be able to build on his recent success here.

CENTER

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at ATL ($11,200): Towns put to bed any concerns about his health after a recent car accident, posting 34 points, 21 rebounds and five assists in a win over the Kings on Monday. Atlanta's one of the four teams that gives up more points per game than the Kings (118.2 to 114.8) while allowing almost as many rebounds per game (54.7 to 57.0), so Towns has a great opportunity to replicate that tremendous performance in another highly favorable matchup.
