DeRozan Leads Spurs Past Raptors
The San Antonio Spurs defeated the host Toronto Raptors, 105-104, at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday evening.

The Raptors got out to a good start at home, with a 28-21 lead after one quarter. The Raptors pushed their lead to double digits mid way through the second and held an eight-point lead at halftime. The Raptors carried the momentum in the third quarter and pushed their lead as high as 18, before the Spurs cut it down to 13, by the end of the quarter. The Spurs overtook the momentum in the fourth and led by DeMar DeRozan, they outscored the Raptors by 36-22 in the quarter to earn the impressive road win.

DeRozan led the Spurs with 25 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals, in 34 minutes. Rudy Gay added 15 points, three assists and two rebounds, while Derrick White totalled 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and three blocks. The Spurs shot 44 percent from the field, including 7-32 from long range.

Meanwhile, Serge Ibaka led the Raptors with 21 points, 14 rebounds and a block, in 32 minutes. Kyle Lowry added 16 points, 15 assists, three rebounds and two steals, while Norman Powell added 20 points in his first game back from injury. The Raptors shot 41 percent from the field, including 17-of-48 from long range.

The Raptors (25-14) will look to bounce back as they take on the Thunder in OKC on Wednesday. The Spurs (17-21) take on the Heat in Miami on Wednesday.
