Bulls Hand Wizards Second Consecutive Loss
The Chicago Bulls defeated the visiting Washington Wizards, 115-106, at United Center on Wednesday evening.

The contest got out to a competitive start and the Wizards led by two, after one quarter. The Bulls kept it close, but the Wizards held the edge for most of the second quarter and took a five-point lead into halftime. The Bulls came out strong in the third and rallied ahead to take an 11-point lead with five minutes left in the quarter. However, the Wizards answered and cut it back to a five-point game, heading into the final frame. The Wizards kept the momentum going and tied it up early in the fourth, but the Bulls turned it up a notch from there, as they took the advantage and did not look back. The Bulls outscored the Wizards 22-13 over the final 9:30, to walk away with their second win in their last three games, while this marks the second straight loss for the Wizards.

Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 30 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and a steal, in 32 minutes. Tomas Satoransky added 18 points, five assists, three rebounds and a steal, while Thaddeus Young added 18 points and eight rebounds, off the bench. The Bulls shot 51 percent from the field, including 14-of-38 from deep.

Meanwhile, Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 23 points, four rebounds and four assists, in 27 minutes. Jordan McRae added 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal, while Isaiah Thomas added 12 points, two rebounds and two assists. The Wizards shot 47 percent from the field, including 11-of-27 from long range.

The Wizards (13-27) will look to bounce back as they take on the Raptors in Toronto on Friday. The Bulls (15-27) take on the 76ers in Philly on Friday.
