Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Friday that Rodriguez (shoulder) has extended his throwing distance off flat ground to 60 feet, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Rodriguez resumed his throwing program last week after being shut down in early April, when he experienced discomfort in his shoulder during a bullpen session.
