Early ADP Comparisons

It's very early in the fantasy baseball season, but most of the major fantasy software sites are up and running.
I wanted to compare the market for players between some of the major sites after the first week or two of drafting and see if I could fine any discrepancies. Groupthink will probably make the rankings align in a few weeks, but there may be some values due to the quirks of each format or population playing there.

I took ADP values from MockDraftCentral.com, Yahoo! Sports and CBSSports. [I couldn't find ESPN's or they are not live yet.]
All are for 5x5 mixed leagues. Yahoo's standard league has 1 catcher, just three OFs and two UT players - so that's one big difference.

Here are some players who stuck out:

Evan Longoria
9.02 on CBS, 5.04 on MDC and 6.4 on Yahoo!
-The lower ranking on CBS seemed out of place. He had the widest variance of players in the first round.

Roy Halladay
12.98 on CBS, 14.6 on MDC, 10.6 on Yahoo!
-Starting pitchers seemed to generally be going higher in Yahoo! drafts. Yahoo! standard leagues feature innings caps, so that's probably a factor favoring the high strikeout pitchers.

Joe Mauer
18.36 on CBS, 20.25 on MDC, 27.5 on Yahoo!
-Yahoo standard format has one catcher, so that's why he's much lower there.

Adam Wainwright
27.36 on CBS, 38.05 on MDC, 28.2 on Yahoo!
-MDC seems to take pitchers later then the other two sites.

Buster Posey
46.82 on MDC, 33.7 on Yahoo!, 29.72 on CBS
-Posey is really in favor on Yahoo! Remember, it's a one catcher format - so his ADP would likely be higher if Yahoo! broke down the ADP for two catcher leagues.

Dan Uggla
51.09 on MDC, 35.8 on Yahoo!, 42.94 on CBS
-Not sure why there's widespread disagreement on him.

Brian McCann
30.34 on MDC, 52.8 on Yahoo!, 46.83 on CBS
-The one catcher format hurts his Yahoo! ranking, but he's all over the map.

Justin Morneau
60.3 on Yahoo!, 48.38 on CBS, 48.28 on MDC
-Maybe his default ranking in Yahoo! is low, but he could be a nice value there (if he proves he's healthy).

Jacoby Ellsbury
87.1 on Yahoo!, 59.04 on CBS, 67.13 on MDC
-Ellsbury looks like a value in Yahoo! leagues.

Joe Nathan
156.9 on CBS, 152.0 on Yahoo!, 284.33 on MDC
-Since MDC was up and running months before Yahoo! and CBS, perhaps Nathan has gone higher in more recent drafts. A few good outings in spring training and he'll likely rocket higher on all three sites.

Drew Stubbs
84.9 on Yahoo!, 97.09 on CBS, 168.57 on MDC
-How about this for all over the map.

Anyway, food for thought as you start mock drafting or live drafting your leagues.
