Smith said Tuesday that he withdraw his name from the 2020 NBA Draft and return to Central Florida for the upcoming season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-11, 240-pound center wasn't viewed by most draft analysts as a likely selection had he chosen to enter the professional ranks, so he'll be back in Orlando for one final season and attempt to boost his stock. As a redshirt junior in 2019-20, Smith started in all 30 of his appearances and averaged 12.6 points, 6.3 boards and 1.9 assists in 26.2 minutes per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field.
