Omersa entered the transfer portal Tuesday and is expected to move on from Minnesota as a graduate transfer, Ryan Burns of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Omersa opted out of the 2020-21 season after playing in the first seven contests. He remains enrolled at Minnesota and is on track to earn his degree in the spring, so he'll be able to compete immediately at his next school while retaining up to two years of eligibility. He appeared in 64 games during his time with the Gophers, averaging 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per contest.
