Will be going pro

Head coach Brad Underwood confirmed after Sunday's 71-58 loss to Loyola-Chicago that Dosunmu has played his final game for the Illini and will be taking the next step in his career, Adam Zagoria of the New York Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Dosunmu initially declared for the NBA Draft after last season but ended up withdrawing his name and returning to Illinois. In retrospect, his decision to come back to college for another year was the right call as he averaged a career-high in points (20.6), rebounds (6.5), assists (5.4) and minutes (35.1) per game. His stellar play earned him a first-team All-America nod and got the Illini their first Big Ten Tournament Championship since 2005. Dosunmu is an incredibly skilled player who has the ability to create his own shot but also spread the ball around and find an open teammate. He struggled in Sunday's season-ending loss, scoring just nine points (4-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt) to go along with two rebounds, two assists and six turnovers in 38 minutes. The 6-5 guard is viewed as a first-round selection in this year's NBA Draft and has the potential to be a lottery pick after a historic run with the Illini.
