Going JUCO route

April 12, 2020
Doherty announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he has transferred to Laramie County Community College in Wyoming.
ANALYSIS
Doherty will continue his career in the JUCO ranks after appearing in eight games as a freshman at Albany this past season and averaged 0.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 4.3 minutes per game. He'll presumably look to resurface in the Division I ranks beginning in the 2021-22 season, when he would have two years of eligibility remaining.
