Hiring agent for NBA Draft
April 12, 2019
Cook has declared for the NBA Draft and will hire an agent.
Cook has improved every year while in Iowa, starting his career with 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a freshman and expanding those numbers to 14.5 points and 7.6 rebounds this past season as a junior. The agent likely signifies that his time with the Hawkeyes has come to an end, although new NCAA rules allow athletes to hire certain agents without losing their eligibility to return to school. Recent projections rank Cook as a second-round pick, but there's always space for that to be improved upon with good workouts for NBA teams.
