The Alouettes released Normand on Thursday, 3DownNation.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Normand's dismissal comes after he was previously suspended following his arrest last week on two charges of child luring for the purpose of sexually exploiting a minor under the age of 16. The 30-year-old fullback pled not guilty to the charges, which stem from an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 9 in Bromont, Quebec. Normand dressed for 10 games for the Alouettes so far this season, recording one special-teams tackle.
