ANALYSIS
That gives Long 16 field goals on the year, good for second in C-USA and tied for 10th nationally. Despite their record, the Blazers can score some points and Long's been fairly consistent all year long. It's not often you would consider a kicker from a 2-9 team in a non-BCS conference, but Long is certainly a solid fantasy kicker.

Long was very productive kicking for the Blazers in 2012 finishing with an 82.4 percent field goal percentage and was 39-for-41 on extra points. He stretched out and hit a 54-yarder at Ohio State and was 7-for-10 on field goals outside of 40 yards.

Long converted 16 of 19 attempts last season as a freshman for a UAB team that finished with just three victories. They scored just 20.2 points per game last year, and with trips to Ohio State and South Carolina on their schedule this season, they will likely continue to have difficulties putting up points. Long may end up being one of their main scoring options, however, so he’s someone to watch in case UAB’s offense gets on track.
