2019 Fantasy Outlook
Vaughn erupted for 1,244 yards and 12 touchdowns on 7.9 YPC in his first season at Vanderbilt, establishing himself as one of college football’s most explosive rushers in the process. 20.8 percent of his carries went for at least 10 yards and 7.6 percent of his runs went for over 20 yards; his 12 carries of 20-plus yards was tied for the fourth-most of any back with 160 or less carries. He’ll be the focal point of the Vanderbilt offense with the upside to be a top-10 running back by season’s end thanks to his elite burst and vision. Read Past Outlooks
Looks good in warmups

October 19, 2019
Vaughn (undisclosed) dressed out and looked good in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Missouri, Adam Sparks of The Tennessean reports.
ANALYSIS
After leaving last week's game against UNLV with an injury, it's likely that Vaughn returns to action Saturday. Spotted on the field during warmups, it appears he's ready to go and should command a full workload against a solid team in No. 22 Missouri.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Vaughn was a true freshman last season, but a mid-season injury to starting running back Josh Ferguson led to a big time role for the former four-star recruit in 2015. He finished the year as the Illini’s leader in rushes (157), yards (723) and touchdowns (6). Vaughn had some understandable struggles as a true freshman as he was held to just 3.6 yards per carry over a four week span in which he was the featured back, meaning that he still has room for improvement as he adjusts to the tough run defenses in the Big 10. That said, Vaughn is in one of the best positions of any sophomore back in the country coming into this year in terms of his role. Not only is Josh Ferguson gone, but Illinois will also be breaking in an almost entirely new receiving corps, which should put Vaughn in line for a ton of touches. He may not be the receiving threat out of the backfield like Ferguson was, but Vaughn is a talented and physical back that should get the kind of workhorse treatment that’ll result in a 200+ carry, 1,000+ yard season.
