Deemed out for the season
Texas-San Antonio coach Frank Wilson announced Monday that Harris (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Greg Luca of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
ANALYSIS
Just a few weeks back, Harris was deemed out indefinitely with the arm injury he picked up in the team's Week 3 loss to Army. With the sophomore signal-caller now shut down for good, Lowell Narcisse will be given the permanent keys to the UTSA offense. Harris only played in four games for the Roadrunners this season but has already exhausted his redshirt status, so he'll have two years of eligibility left over.
