Ross recently informed the Oklahoma State staff that he will leave the team, Scott Wright of The Oklahoman reports.

Ross joined the program in January 2018 as a transfer from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M but wasn't able to make a name for himself at the FCS level, as he was limited by injuries last spring and took a redshirt during his first year on campus. He ultimately decided the injury risk that came with playing football wasn't worth the hassle. He'll remain enrolled at Oklahoma State and is on track to graduate next spring.
