Planning to leave Coastal Carolina
Johnson-Fisher entered his name into the NCAA's transfer portal on Friday and appears set to leave Coastal Carolina, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As a former rugby standout from South London, Johnson-Fisher had one of the more unique backstories among all running-back recruits from the Class of 2018. Johnson-Fisher's learning curve for American football -- a sport he had never previously played -- may have been steeper than he anticipated, as he failed to see any action as a true freshman and he now intends to try his luck at another program. While his entry into the portal will theoretically allow Johnson-Fisher to return to Coastal Carolina if he chooses, he already seems set to move on after removing all references to the Chanticleers from the bio section of his personal Twitter account and retweeting this post on the social-media site.
