Green announced Monday that he would leave the San Diego State program and enter the transfer portal, Kirk Kenney of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The redshirt freshman found himself fourth on the Aztecs' depth chart at quarterback entering spring camp, and with playing time unlikely to come his way at any point in the next couple of seasons, he decided to move on from San Diego State. Due to his interest in pursuing a career in finance, Green intends to transfer to an Ivy League program to complete his eligibility. Though Green initially made a verbal commitment to Harvard coming out of high school. he expects to land with a different Ivy League school.
