Packing on weight
March 18, 2024
Iowa State's offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser said Monday that Brahmer could weigh around 245 or 250 pounds by the end of spring, CycloneFanatic.com reports.
ANALYSIS
When Brahmer arrived at Ames in June, he weighed 218 pounds. By weighing 245 or 250 by the end of spring, he will have gained between 27 and 32 pounds. The extra weight could help Brahmer establish himself as an elite tight end during 2024. The sophomore already began his collegiate career on a high note in 2023, when he logged 28 receptions for 352 yards (12.6 averaged per reception) and multiple touchdowns.
