Ball joined the Bulldogs as a transfer from Vanderbilt this offseason and has apparently acquainted himself well under the direction of new head coach Jeff Lebby. Mississippi State hasn't traditionally utilized the tight end much in the passing game, but that figures to change under Lebby in 2024, and Ball made a case to be a big part of that with his showing Saturday.
