Britt (thumb) announced via his personal Twitter account Thursday that he will not return this season, ending his collegiate career.
ANALYSIS
The linebacker underwent surgery in early October to repair torn ligaments in his right thumb and has not played since Oct. 3 against Georgia. There was hope that he would be able to return towards the end of the season, but now the senior will turn his focus towards the 2021 NFL Draft. Britt recorded 97 tackles while appearing in 29 games for the Tigers across four seasons.
