ANALYSIS
Gibbs missed all of the 2022 season while rehabbing a knee injury but is back in the mix for 2023 and could be in contention for some backfield reps behind starter Jalen White (undisclosed). Even so, White should receive most of the carries for the Eagles, while Gibbs and OJ Arnold will presumably duke it out for reps behind him. However, it's worth noting that Gibbs got in sizable reps with the starters along with Arnold in spring, while White sat out the session. Gibbs held numerous power-five offers in high school, so there is a good chance he could become a major contributor as soon as 2024 or earlier if injuries arise.
