DraftKings CS:GO: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

Games (EDT)

  • 12:00 p.m: Virtus.Pro (VP) vs. mousesports (mouz)
  • 1:00 p.m: Copenhagen Flames (CPHF) vs Cloud 9 (C9)
  • 4:00 p.m: Envy (nV) vs. HAVU (HAVU)
  • 4:00 p.m: 100 Thieves (100T) vs. MiBR (MiBR)

Virtus.Pro(0-1) vs. mousesports(1-1)

The ESL Pro League opener features Virtus.Pro looking to turn around an 0-2 loss to FaZe Clan against world no. 4 mousesports. mouz come into the match 1-1, with a loss against OG and a tight 2-1 win over FaZe off the backs of ropz and frozen. The question for mouz will be if ChrisJ can show up; in their win he posted a plus-3 and solid 1.00 rating, but in their loss a minus-27 and 0.75 rating. If the Dutch AWPer shows up to play they should prove to have far too much talent for a floundering Virtus.Pro, who, outside of Qikert and Jame, have been underwhelming, to say the least, in recent months. In the end, unless Jame pulls out an absolute master class, mouz should have far too much quality and take this series comfortably. With Jame only the third-most expensive VP player while potentially being one of the best in the world, he could be incredible value and a worthwhile inclusion.

VP Players to Target: Jame ($8,400 Captain, $5,600 Flex), Qikert ($7,800 Captain, $5,200 Flex)

mouz Players to Target: frozen ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex), ropz ($12,900 Captain, $8,600 Flex)

Copenhagen Flames (0-1) vs. Cloud 9 (0-1)

The group favorites vs. the team that seems almost out of place, Goliath meet David. CPHF come into this one after an incredibly close game against the Finnish no. 1 HAVU, losing 0-2. An 0-2 loss is very rarely a close series, but when the maps go 19-17 and 16-14, it can't be much closer. Meanwhile, Cloud 9 come in on the back of a shocking 1-2 defeat to Envy, who handed Cloud 9 their first defeat of Flashpoint. This will not be an easy game for CPHF, as the Danes are looking for their first victory of Flashpoint and are unlikely to find it against Cloud 9. Unless Farlig or TeSeS can have the series of a lifetime, CPHF will struggle to find their footing.

CPHF Players to Target: TeSeS ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex)

C9 Players to Target: oSee ($12,300 Captain, $8,200 Flex), motm ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex)

Envy (1-0) vs. HAVU (1-0)

In what could prove to be the most interesting match of the week, Envy and HAVU face off after each winning their opening games. Envy took down Cloud9 2-1 thanks to an absolute masterclass by Calyx, who went plus-25 for a 1.44 rating, plus-21 better than anyone else on server. HAVU, on the other hand, took down Copenhagen Flames 2-0 on a well-rounded team performance, with doto, hoody and sLowi all stepping up with 1.30, 1.25, and 1.09 ratings, respectively. HAVU are the betting favorite, and that should come as no surprise unless Calyx can somehow replicate his incredible performance. HAVU have looked like a strong team all tournament, going 2-1 in Phase 1 and now opening Phase 2 with a win. Expect well-rounded high level CS from the Finnish no. 1s as they look to move to 2-0 and take a dominant position in the group. That said, if you can fit Calyx into your team, it would be hard to say no to.

nV Players to Target: Calyx ($12,600 Captain, $8,400 Flex)

HAVU Players to Target: doto ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex), Zoree ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex)

100 Thieves (2-1) vs. MiBR (0-2)

100 Thieves and MiBR come into ESL Pro League in vastly different form, with the former having only lost to former world no. 1 Team Liquid, while the latter has looked like a team without identity for the last few months and off a 2-1 defeat to Furia. 100T are the clear favorites, and the Oceanic squad will look to take a comfortable spot on top of the group in what should be a clear victory. That isn't to say that the Brazilians don't bring value to the table, as kNgV could be a worthwhile inclusion in any team and Fer has the potential to show up and take over a series; probably not this series though.

100T Players to Target: jkaem ($11,700 Captain, $7,800 Flex), Liazz ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex)

MiBR Players to Target: fer ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex), kNgV ($10,500 Captain, $7,000 Flex)
