fnatic (5–2) vs. Astralis (4–2)

fnatic come in hot after wins against FaZe and NiP, and they are now set to take on Astralis. They have historically struggled against the Danes, with a 1–4 record over the last 12 months. That's a record of 1–5 if you count their previous roster, which included twist and Xizt. Their last win against them came in the semi-finals of DreamHack Masters Malmo, a tournament they later went on to win. flusha had a great performance against FaZe, and his price has been bumped up a bit as a result. I like flusha for the same reasons as I do Xyp9x, but with KRIMZ priced the same, there isn't much reason to roster him unless you are going for a contrarian strategy. KRIMZ and Brollan remain the top plays on fnatic, and JW makes for the best value play at $5,200.

On the side of Astralis, Magisk remains the lowest-priced player in the game. Personally, I would not be afraid to go back to him despite not putting up the numbers in their loss to Natus Vincere on Sunday. device will be the top play on Astralis, as he tends to play well against fnatic. In fact, he has been the top fragger in three of the last four meetings with the Swedes. I highlighted Xyp9x as a solid contrarian play in the last article, and

In fact, he has been the top fragger in three of the last four meetings with the Swedes. I highlighted Xyp9x as a solid contrarian play in the last article, and he had a fine game against NaVi despite the loss. I like him again in this matchup, as he makes for a decent pivot to the often-more-popular dupreeh.

fnatic Players to Target: KRIMZ ($6,600) Brollan ($8,200)
Astralis Players to Target: Magisk ($7,200) device ($8,800)

Natus Vincere (4–2) vs. OG (4–3)

Natus Vincere got the better of Astralis in what was a repeat performance from IEM Katowice earlier this year. s1mple was, as is often the case, the best player on the server. He is the second-highest priced player on the slate at $9,000, but he has the potential to put up even better numbers in this matchup against OG. s1mple's partner in crime, electronic, had a really slow start in their series against Astralis, but he started coming alive in the latter stages of the match. He is almost a must-play for me at $8,000, as he will have a lot more space to work with against a lesser-skilled OG side.

This is a really tough matchup for OG, but if you want to reap the benefits of a potential upset, I would consider ISSAA, who is the lowest-priced player on the entire slate. Rostering ISSAA will allow you to pick some of the highest-priced players in other matchups, which makes him a viable option. However, both valde and mantuu should also be considered if you have the salary. I personally like to gravitate towards smart, passive riflers such as valde in difficult matchups such as this one, and at just $5,400, he makes for a decent contrarian play.

Natus Vincere Players to Target: s1mple ($9,000) electronic ($8,000)
OG Players to Target: ISSAA ($4,000) mantuu ($6,000) valde ($5,400)

FaZe (4–3) vs. mousesports (5–1)

FaZe will take on mousesports in what will be a rematch from the first group stage. In that match, mousesports got the better of FaZe by a score of 2–1, and I would expect another tightly contested brawl this time around. NiKo comes in as the highest-priced player on the slate at $9,200, and he will be a popular play once more as he is coming off a great performance in a loss to fnatic. The other player I would look to roster on FaZe is coldzera, who was the second-best player for FaZe in their last two meetings with mousesports.

On the side of mousesports, frozen and ropz remain the best plays. However, it is inevitable that woxic is going to pop off at some point, and this might be a good time to target him. FaZe and mousesports have only duked it out twice with the current rosters, and in their first meeting, woxic posted a K/D ratio of 1.63 with a team-high 63 kills.

FaZe Players to Target: NiKo ($9,200) coldzera ($6,800)
mousesports Players to Target: ropz ($8,200) frozen ($7,800) woxic ($7,600)
