NFL Picks: Dolphins, Redskins and Cardinals

This article is part of our NFL Picks series.

I won the week with a 12-4 mark, putting me all alone in first place by four games. Pianowski is still in second, but only one game ahead of Erickson who went 10-6.

This week, we all like the Dolphins, Redskins and Cardinals, i.e., teams quarterbacked by Ryan Tannehill, Mark Sanchez and Josh Rosen, respectively. Both Stopa and Pianowski like the Colts as their best bets.

Erickson I did "Guess the Spread" on my own, because I didn't get a chance do it on-air with Chris on Tuesday and felt pretty good about the results. Was really close on a lot of them, and the ones on which I was off I have a strong feel. I'll probably go 4-12. That said, I had the Browns as the standard 3-point home favorite over Carolina. What exactly have they done lately to justify being a road favorite here? Cam Newton's shoulder is aching each week, he's missing practice, and their defense is crumbling. I also really like Seattle, Dallas and Houston. I'm least comfortable with my WAS & ATL picks.
PianowskiI found this slate difficult, especially the prime-time games. Heck, the last few months have been difficult for me. In the words of Mike Damone, "Woke up in a great mood, and I don't know what the hell happened."
LissMy two best bets are the Packers, getting a post Mike McCarthy bounce, and the Chargers who I expect to destroy a Bengals squad that's arguably the worst in the league right now.
StopaGreen Bay has waved the white flag. That line should be minus 3 against a Falcons team that has quietly gotten healthier on defense. New England struggles in Miami every year. For best bet, though, give me Indy to bounce back against a Texans team due for a letdown.
Del DonGoing dog heavy again this week, but laying the points with Green Bay, betting big on the Mike McCarthy getting fired factor.
