2017 Fantasy Outlook
The 2016 fourth-round selection spent the entire season playing on a bum ankle, which eventually forced him to be placed on injured reserve in Week 13. Even with the ailment, the rookie still managed to record 46 tackles and five passes defensed in 12 games while playing a mix of defense and special teams. Heading into his second season, Kindred now has an opportunity to take over as the full-time starter at strong safety, but he will have to fend off first-round selection Jabrill Peppers. While the Browns' defense is improving, drafting Kindred could be seen as a bit of risk, especially considering all the young competition in the secondary this season.
