The Vikings got a steal when Hodges (6-6, 257) fell to them in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, as the Virginia Tech product shined at the combine with a 4.57-second 40-yard-dash and a 39-inch vertical. Given his size, athleticism and overall talent, Hodges figures to begin his rookie campaign as Minnesota's No. 2 option at tight end behind Kyle Rudolph, who is expected to see a majority of the tight-end targets but has also experienced issues with injuries in the past.
