2019 Fantasy Outlook
Entering the final quarter of the season, the 2018 fourth-rounder had just five receptions for 61 yards to his name. Following the season-ending injury to Emmanuel Sanders, Hamilton blossomed - leading the Broncos with 25 receptions during the season's final four games. He averaged just 7.3 yard per catch during that span and though he doesn't have the kind of straight-line speed that can take the top off of a defense, his game depends more on sharp routes than athleticism. If Courtland Sutton is able to stress defenses up the sideline and rookie Noah Fant controls the seam, Hamilton could become a high-volume target underneath for Joe Flacco. Read Past Outlooks

Shows potential to end year

Hamilton caught 28 of 52 passes for 297 yards an a touchdown during the 2019 season.
ANALYSIS
Hamilton hadn't done much for most of the season, but he showed some life during Denver's final two games, with 39.2% of his catches and 43.8% of his yards coming in wins over Detroit and Oakland. Though he seemed to have fallen out of favor with Joe Flacco and Brandon Allen, 28 of his 52 targets came during Drew Lock's five-game audition. Hamilton is a nice option short and over the middle, but he doesn't seem to be an ideal option to stretch the field opposite Courtland Sutton. He may actually be well served if Denver, as expected, looks to upgrade the WR2 spot; with an extra threat on the outside, Hamilton may have more room to exert damage over the middle of the field.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Denver's coaching staff worked with Hamilton during the Senior Bowl and reportedly viewed him as the soundest route runner of the bunch before selecting him in the fourth round. He never came close to matching the 82 receptions he had as a freshman, the potential product of a Penn State offense that rode Saquon Barkley. That said, he did manage to score nine touchdowns as a senior, matching the combined total from his first three seasons. Though not a burner, Hamilton's refined routes, strong hands and experience in the slot could make him an early contributor. He ranked second among the draft's receiver in team quarterback rating when targeted in the slot in 2017, per Pro Football Focus.
