Recent RotoWire Articles Featuring Cameron Percy
Abraham Ancer will be teeing it up in his home state this week, and Len Hochberg believes that will help him return value in the latest contests on DraftKings.
There's a lot to like about Patton Kizzire this week, and Ryan Andrade suggests looking his way when setting your lineups for the final PGA contests of the year on FanDuel.
Kristoffer Ventura's season has gotten off to a good start, and he lands a spot among Ryan Andrade's golfers to target in this week's contests on FanDuel.
Birdies and eagles were the name of the game in Las Vegas, and Martin Laird made enough of them -- including a birdie on his final hole -- to emerge victorious in a three-man playoff.
Louis Oosthuizen has never appeared in this event, but his recent form helps him earn a spot among this week's golfers to target in contests on DraftKings.
Past Fantasy Outlooks
A solid iron player by trade, Percy is a veteran journeyman who finished 144th on the points list last season. He went to the Web.com Finals to retain his card for a third consecutive year, but narrowly missed, finishing 29th. He'll, therefore, have conditional status on the tour this season. His lack of results while retaining PGA Tour status heretofore is something to behold with just four career top-10s in six seasons, including just one last year. It's almost sad to note that he experienced the best earnings of his career last year at $623,694, which speaks to his lack of upside. Keep your distance from Percy in drafts.
Percy finished T10 in the first Web.com Finals event, and that was enough to carry him to a PGA Tour card for the second consecutive year after missing in 2014-15. He went T61-MC in the last two Finals events to cap an unimpressive year, carding two top-25s in 15 PGA Tour events. Expect more of the same this season from the 42-year-old Australian.
The 40-year-old Aussie returns to the PGA tour after a one-year absence, having Web.com Tour victory and third-place finish facilitate his promotion. In 2013, Percy missed 13-of-21 PGA cuts, with only one top 25. A similar 2014-15 seems in the cards for him.
