GOALIE
Henrik Lundqvist, NYR vs. LA ($8,000): Lundqvist has played much better lately with four wins and 13 goals allowed in his past five games. As mediocre as the Rangers' offense has been this season, it's still 25 goals better than the league-worst Kings, and Lundqvist has fared much better at home with a 10-6-5 record and .912 save percentage. Among road goalies, Jacob Markstrom ($7,500) and Darcy Kuemper ($6,900) offer the most upside.
CENTER
Elias Pettersson, VAN at PHI ($6,800): The rookie All-Star stretched his point streak to three games with an assist on Saturday against the Avs, and if not for a few unlucky bounces would've collected a few more points. He's a good bet against the Flyers, who've managed to win seven straight in spite of their mediocre defending. Pettersson's line with sniper Brock Boeser and Nikolay Goldobin looked good and will likely stay together for the game. He's scoring at a better per-game pace than Tyler Seguin ($7,100) and Mika Zibanejad ($7,500).
Ryan Getzlaf, ANA at TOR ($5,000): The Ducks will probably lose again, but Getzlaf is a value proposition at this price. Randy Carlyle wasted no time re-united Getlzaf with Corey Perry and Rickard Rakell, and although the line was held without a point, it's clearly their best line. Perry looked okay despite missing half the season and Getzlaf has not been this cheap in recent memory. Derek Stepan ($4,600) and Kevin Hayes ($5,600) also seem like good value bets.
WING
Brock Boeser, VAN at PHI ($6,900): A lack of elite wingers makes Boeser look even more appealing, but picking him also provides the opportunity to line stack with Elias Pettersson. Boeser looked very dangerous against the Avalanche on Saturday, scoring his 50th career goal with a laser beam off a faceoff win from the top of the circle. Given how the Flyers' defense hasn't been very good, Boeser's probably going to get quite a few scoring chances.
Conor Garland, ARI at DAL ($4,500): He's scored 10 goals in 24 games this season, statistically making him the Coyotes' most dangerous goal scorer (ouch), and he's getting all the bounces lately. His most recent goal came off a Sharks turnover in their own zone, and he managed to beat Martin Jones with a nifty one-on-one move. Garland now also plays on the first power-play unit, giving him prime opportunities and making him a decent value play.
Mattias Janmark, DAL vs. ARI ($2,900): Janmark is coming off back-to-back games in which he scored three points, and has taken Jamie Benn's spot with Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov. That gives Janmark an enormous value proposition, who was getting 14-15 minutes per night before his promotion. Janmark's star has faded due to injuries recently, but the Stars believe he can still be an effective top-six winger. The Coyotes should not be a tough opponent.
DEFENSE
Morgan Rielly, TOR vs. ANA ($6,300): There's a lack of good options, so Rielly's worth the premium because he's got plenty of upside and has been fairly consistent all season. The Ducks are coming off a 9-3 loss and Randy Carlyle has certainly done his fair share of losing in Toronto. No other Leafs defenseman has skills like Rielly, who has four points in three games, and he will have plenty of chances to generate offense against a porous Ducks defense.
Drew Doughty, LA at NYR ($5,100): For better or for worse, Doughty's going to play a lot of minutes for the Kings no matter the situation or the game. With Jake Muzzin gone, the Kings will be relying on Doughty even more than usual, and if he's going to be on the ice a lot, there are many more fearsome opponents than the Rangers. The upside to Doughty is that there's no single player on the Rangers he can't cover; the downside is that the rest of his team isn't very good. The Kings rearguard has three points in four games.
