GOALIE
Sergei Bobrovsky, CLS vs. BOS ($8,000): If you don't think that sucker punch by Brad Marchand galvanized the Blue Jackets, then you don't know them very well. Bob has been brilliant all playoffs and their relentless forecheck and physicality is giving the Bruins a lot of problems. Their vaunted top line has been invisible for most of the series, and top scorer David Pastrnak looked like he was hurt last game.
CENTER
Logan Couture, SJ at COL ($6,200): Over the past decade, Couture ranks sixth in playoff goals with 43, averaging 0.88 points per game, much higher than his season average of 0.76 over the same period. He's a clutch playoff performer, and even if Joe Pavelski returns to the lineup will be leaned on Peter DeBoer heavily in all situations. Nathan MacKinnon ($7,200) is in a class of his own, but Couture has a chance to way outperform his price tag.
Boone Jenner, CLS vs. BOS ($4,200): Jenner was due when scored his first of the playoffs in Game 3, having put 20 shots on net and really ramping up his play after a fairly quiet series against the Lightning. The physical series plays right into Jenner's style, and through three games has 15 shots, 14 hits and five blocked shots. Jenner could be a bargain play at this price and plays just as much as second-line center Matt Duchene ($5,500).
WING
Artemi Panarin, CLS vs. BOS ($6,100): We'll stop short of calling Bread a top three overall player in the league like his coach, but we will concede that he's looked like the most dangerous offensive player in this series. He commands a lot of attention and was held off the score sheet last game, but still put four shots on goal and was second only to Cam Atkinson in ice time. It's a contract year and he leads the Jackets in scoring with nine points.
Gustav Nyquist, SJ at COL ($5,000): He notched his first two assists of the series thanks to Couture and finally provided that depth scoring the Sharks needed with injuries to key players. As long as Nyquist stays on Couture's line he's worth picking, but on his own his fantasy value is far more precarious; he had just three assists against the Knights and one goal entering Game 3 against the Avs, playing less than 15 minutes in two of the three games.
Danton Heinen, BOS at CLS ($3,900): Heinen skated on the third line with Charlie Coyle and Marcus Johansson yesterday, but how many minutes will David Backes actually play on the second line? If the top line can't go get going look for Bruce Cassidy to juggle his lines, and when that happens, Heinen is usually the first one to get moved up. He is a boom-or-bust pick with just one assist this series.
DEFENSE
Seth Jones, CLS vs. BOS ($5,600): My love for Jones has no bounds, and once again despite not scoring a point contributed four shots and five blocked shots. He has one of the highest floors for a defenseman in the playoffs and he's been very reliable. He's a safer pick than both Tyson Barrie ($6,000) and Erik Karlsson ($5,800).
Cale Makar, COL vs. SJ ($4,200): Jared Bednar didn't bench him after a shift with Samuel Girard that highlighted the rookie's inexperience, and that says a lot about what Makar brings to the table. He played 16 minutes in Game 3 and notched his second assist of the series, giving him four points this playoffs and tying him with Ian Cole for second-most among Avs defensemen. The Sharks remain one of the worst defensive teams in the playoffs with 33 goals against.
