SLATE PREVIEW
We have just three games for Tuesday night, as many teams are gearing up for a large Wednesday slate ahead of American Thanksgiving. Two of the top dogs in the Atlantic Division face off when Montreal and Boston meet up, while Minnesota vs. New Jersey is a matchup between bottom dwellers from opposite conferences. Don't forget about the Central Division showdown between the Stars and Blackhawks, though, as both goalies could be good options in a matchup with a low projected goal total.
As you're setting your lineup, it's important to realize the chalky plays and units that have positive correlations. Read on for tips and tricks to guide you on your way to DFS glory.
GOALIES
Kaapo Kahkonen ($7,000) will make his NHL debut with Devan Dubnyk tending to a family matter. In recent memory, we've seen AHL goalies come up and steal the show in their first action -- Adam Werner and Jordan Binnington have done so in the past calendar year. It's quite rare, and it happens far less than not. Kahkonen is a viable tournament play, especially against the Devils' 29th-ranked 2.55 goals per game, but understand he didn't tear up the minor-league ranks, either.
MacKenzie Blackwood ($7,200) is a slightly safer approach, although he's in a slump, allowing at least three goals in four of his last five outings.
Robin Lehner ($7,800) and Anton Khudobin ($7,700) are pegged to start in a slate-low 5.5 O/U matchup, per FanDuel Sportsbook. Lehner's been red-hot over the last month with a .943 save percentage, but a lack of offensive support leaves him with a less-appealing 4-3-1 record. Khudobin has been similarly stellar in that span with a .948 save percentage, and he's benefitted from offensive support with a 5-0-1 record.
Jaroslav Halak ($8,600) and Carey Price ($8,500) are a wash in terms of Goals Saved Above Average, ringing up 1.52 and 1.39, respectively, per Natural Stat Trick. Halak should have his hands full, however, as the Canadiens come in second in high-danger scoring chances over the last two weeks while the Bruins place 23rd.
VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS
Jake DeBrusk ($4,900) finally made his return from injury felt with a two-point effort against the Wild on Saturday, but now he'll lose David Krejci, who received a first-line promotion due to Patrice Bergeron's injury. Still, he logs time with the man advantage, and Montreal sports a slate-worst 73.6 penalty-kill percentage. The 23-year-old was a 27-goal scorer last year, though, so even without his traditional center, he's the definition of a one-off now that he's back in the groove.
Having a share of a line that features Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat is never a bad idea. Dylan Strome ($5,300) can grab you a piece of that, and he's productive in his own right with 17 points through 23 games.
Kevin Fiala ($4,300) endured a few healthy scratches this season, and that seemed to set him on the right path. The 23-year-old has posted five goals and four helpers over the last 11 contests, and he's fired 23 shots on net in that span. His time with the top power-play unit is the icing on the cake, as New Jersey ranks 25th with a 13.8 percent penalty-kill rate.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Dallas Stars (TOTAL: $20,900) 
C - Tyler Seguin ($8,100)
C - Roope Hintz ($5,800)
W - Jamie Benn ($7,000)
For the second time in as many years, Seguin and Benn were called out by the brass for their lack of production, and they've responded in a similar fashion with a combined seven goals and 10 assists over the last six games. Hintz has lit the lamp once over two games since returning from injury as well. Keep in mind that Seguin is playing wing, but he's listed at center on FanDuel.
Minnesota Wild (TOTAL: $17,200) 
C - Eric Staal ($6,100)
W - Mats Zuccarello ($5,400)
W - Jason Zucker ($5,700)
Each forward in this group has accrued eight points over 11 November games as the Wild's most-productive unit during the month. They'll have a solid opportunity to keep on motoring since the Devils have yielded 3.12 GA/60 at even strength over their last six games. It's a boom-or-bust unit, but the low price tag is appealing
Montreal Canadiens (TOTAL: $14,100) 
C - Max Domi ($6,200)
W - Nick Suzuki ($4,000)
W - Artturi Lehkonen ($3,900)
This crew comes in at a major bargain, and it features the appropriate risk to match it. The 20-year-old Suzuki has been the most-productive member lately, but the trio combined for eight points against the Rangers on Saturday. Furthermore, each forward has at least a 52.6 Corsi For percentage. Look for them to leverage those chances into production against Halak, who has an uninspiring .900 career save percentage against the Habs.
DEFENSE
Shea Weber ($6,500) is the most-expensive blueliner in this slate by a long shot, which is explained by a late surge of eight points and 33 shots on net over the last eight games. The veteran has a 55.1 Corsi For percentage to back it up, and that shooting volume provides a worthy floor.
Torey Krug ($5,800) is the next in line, and he just responded from a five-game hiatus with a three-point effort against the Wild. The 28-year-old is a premier blueliner with 16 points -- 12 on the power-play -- through 18 games, and it's tough to bet against him versus Montreal's porous penalty kill. Meanwhile, Matt Grzelcyk ($4,000) was the team's blue-line producer while Krug was out, notching two goals and two helpers. He hasn't lost his spot with the man advantage, either, making him a solid value add.
If you're going to stack the Stars' forwards, you can't leave out Miro Heiskanen ($5,300). Overshadowed by Cale Makar's party, Heiskanen is a young blueliner with major upside, sporting six goals and 11 points while firing 62 shots on net over 24 outings.
