SLATE PREVIEW

The Senators are coming off a 4-3 loss in overtime against New Jersey at home while the Penguins are coming off back-to-back wins against Nashville and have won nine of their past 11 games. The Penguins should be heavy favorites.

GOALIES

Marcus Hogberg (3.10 GAA, .903 Sv%) will start for the Senators, who has allowed four goals in each of his past three games. No goalies will be made available for selection with only one game tonight.

VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS

Colin White ($8,500) has three points in four games. He hasn't taken a step forward many thought he would, but the former first-round pick has some upside and also plays on the second power-play unit. Tyler Ennis ($7,000) has some value because he plays on the top power-play unit, but it's not a particularly effective unit and Ennis' production is often more bust than boom.

Bryan Rust ($9,500) has been one of the hottest players in the league and dished out three goals and five points in two games against the Preds. He has been dynamite since joining Evgeni Malkin's line. Alex Galchenyuk ($7,500) is back in the top six and he scored three points against the Preds.

FORWARD LINE STACKS

Pittsburgh Penguins (TOTAL: $23,000)

Jared McCann ($8,000)
Dominik Kahun ($7,500)
Alex Galchenyuk ($7,500)

Malkin's line will run you $39,000 while the second line will cost just roughly two-thirds of that, so this might be the better value play. All three players have three points in their past four games. The Senators are 22nd-worst in GA/PG.

DEFENSEMEN

Kris Letang ($12,500) is safer than Thomas Chabot ($10,500), but Chabot will most certainly play more minutes for a depleted Sens blue line, and if the Pens get the game in the bag early on, look for Letang's minutes to get dialed back a little. Juuso Riikola ($6,000) has four points in two games and plays on the second power-play unit, making him a potential value play.

Mark Borowiecki ($6,500) tends to be a safe pick because of his high-volume shot blocking, but he's also been on a scoring binge lately with two goals and three assists in his past five games.
