Tanner Fritz

After spending parts of three seasons in the AHL, Fritz finally earned a chance to play in an NHL game and was frequently in the starting lineup by the end of the 2017-18 campaign. In all, the energy cog played in 34 games, netting three goals and seven points. He remains under contract with the Islanders for at least one more season, but Fritz isn't expected to open the new season as a starter. Still, No. 56 has produced well in the minors with Bridgeport (10 goals and 38 points in 35 AHL games last season), so keep an eye on him as a potential midseason pickup.
