Falls as (-1000) favorite

Smith lost to Khama Worthy via TKO (punches) at 4:15 of Round 1 at UFC 241 on Saturday in Anaheim.
ANALYSIS
What a disaster. With Smith entering this bout as a (-1000) favorite, this will go down as by far one of the biggest upsets in UFC history. Yes, anyone can get knocked out at any given time, but it's not as if Smith was the picture of activity prior to the finish. He attempted just 22 total strikes compared to 50 from his former training partner Worthy. Smith is young enough (turned 26 years old last month) to rebound from this setback, but this is about as bad of a loss as you will ever see.
Another new opponent at UFC 241

Smith will now take on Khama Worthy in a lightweight matchup at UFC 241 on Saturday, Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Smith was originally scheduled to take on John Makdessi on the card, but Makdessi was forced to withdraw and was replaced by Clay Collard. Now it's Collard that's been scratched due to unspecified "health issues." The UFC will ultimately find a late replacement, so the highest-salaried fighter from a fantasy perspective will remain on the card. Expect Smith to remain a relatively sizable betting favorite once odds are released, even though Worthy has compiled a five-fight winning streak across a variety of smaller circuits.
Nabs new opponent for UFC 241

Smith will take on Clay Collard at UFC 241 on Aug. 17, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While Smith gives up two inches to Collard in the height department, he possesses a three-inch reach advantage that he will likely use to keep Collard at a distance. He has landed 8.78 significant strikes per minute in his first two career UFC bouts while his opponent have landed just 2.93 per minutes, likely due to Smith's extended reach. Smith relies almost exclusively on KO/TKO for his victories, so he'll aim to remain upright for the bout.

Smith is in need of a new opponent for UFC 241 after John Makdessi withdrew Tuesday, John Morgan of MMA Junkie reports.
ANALYSIS
The withdrawal comes on fairly short notice with the fight on Aug. 17, but the UFC is reportedly seeking out a replacement for Smith. Smith's time under the UFC banner has been off to a great start, winning his first two bouts via KO and TKO.

Smith will square off versus John Makdessi at UFC Anaheim, Marcelo Barone of GlobalEsporte.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Smith's two UFC fights haven't lasted through the first round and he's outclassed his opponents with 32 significant strikes landed compared to just five absorbed in the two bouts. He owns a whopping eight-inch reach advantage over Makdessi, which could play in his favor in a fight that figures to see punches thrown early and often.
