Runs winning streak to seven
MiddleweightUFC
April 6, 2024
Allen defeated Chris Curtis via split decision (48-47, 47-48, 49-46) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was one of the best fights of the year, and ultimately, Allen gets revenge on Curtis following the former's knockout win in their first meeting back in December 2021. While Allen deserves plenty of credit for finding a way, he wasn't great here. Brendan is prone to getting sucked into brawls and you simply can't go about attacking Curtis that way because Chris is one of the most durable guys in the sport. Allen would be much better served to pick his spots a bit better. The biggest positive of the night for Brendan was the fact he got his wrestling game going. Curtis is nearly impossible to takedown and Allen got him six times on 13 tries, even if he didn't do a ton with his positional advantage. The bottom line is that it's impossible to argue with the results. Allen has now won seven in a row since the loss to Curtis.

Allen will match up against Chris Curtis at UFC Vegas 89 on April 6.
ANALYSIS
Allen will fight Chris Curtis following Marvin Vettori's withdrawal from the fight. The 28-year-old American has won his last six fights and will look to stay hot against Curtis in Vegas.
Scheduled against Vettori
MiddleweightUFC
January 3, 2024
Allen is scheduled to face Marvin Vettori in a middleweight fight at the UFC's April 6 event in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Allen will try to improve his win streak to seven with a win over Vettori, who is a top-five contender in the UFC's middleweight rankings. Despite Vettori last fighting 39-year-old Jared Cannonier and losing, the Italian has fended off non-top-five middleweight contenders like Paulo Costa and Roman Dolidze. Vettori could possibly do the same with Allen.
Dominant main event victory

Allen defeated Paul Craig via submission (rear-naked choke) at 0:38 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Someone is going to halt Allen's momentum eventually, because that's how it goes in this sport, but there was never a chance it was going to be the soon-to-be 36-year-old Craig. Even at his best, Craig offers next to nothing on the feet and relies on his submission skills to secure victories. The younger, more athletic Allen, who is also excellent on the mat, quickly put an end to that. Brendan closed with a 52-13 edge in total strikes landed and connected on both of his takedown attempts, good for 7:58 worth of control time. It was a complete performance from a guy that is already terrific and appears to be improving every time we see him. The winner of six in a row, Allen is closing in on title-implicating fights at 185 pounds. In the meantime, he'll walk away with one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening.
Fight scheduled against Craig

August 29, 2023
Allen will compete against Paul Craig in a five-round middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 82 on Nov. 18, according to the UFC.
ANALYSIS
Allen, currently No. 10 in the UFC's middleweight rankings, will have to defend his spot against Craig, who is No. 13 and looking to move up. Allen has won each of his last five fights, four of them which he earned via submission with a rear-naked choke.
Massive surge continues
MiddleweightUFC
June 24, 2023
Allen defeated Bruno Silva via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:39 of Round 1 at UFC on ABC 5 on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.
ANALYSIS
Allen is arguably the best middleweight in the world that no one seems to know about, and his full skill set was on display here. He started quickly, battering Silva in the early going before things settled down. Once the fight picked up again, Allen found himself going blow-for-blow with a heavy-handed knockout artist, often seeming to find himself along the fence in trouble. Yet, Allen was able to survive, eventually knocking Silva down before choking him out. Allen displayed excellent awareness in not overextending himself in search of the finish, knowing it would eventually materialize. The 27-year-old Kill Cliff FC product has won five in a row and seven of eight. Allen is closing in on title-implicating fights at 185 pounds.
