Fight moved up to 135
Jasudavicius's scheduled flyweight matchup against Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 297 on Saturday has been moved to bantamweight due to weight-cutting issues on Cachoeira's end, MMA journalist James Lynch reports.
ANALYSIS
There's no word yet on any compensation received by Jasudavicius' camp as a result of the late fight adjustment that was no fault of her own. As of Friday morning, she's listed as approximately a (-380) betting favorite for the scheduled matchup.

Brief winning streak snapped
Jasudavicius lost to Tracy Cortez via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at Noche UFC on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius had looked good of late, most notably in her unanimous decision upset win over Miranda Maverick this past June, but she really struggled with the hand speed and power of Cortez. Jasmine clearly dropped Round 1 before getting things back on track in Round 2 on the strength of a couple takedowns. It ended up not mattering because two judges inexplicably scored the second frame for Cortez, but it wouldn't have mattered given Jasudavicius' struggles in Round 3. The 34-year-old Canadian drops to 3-2 in her first fight UFC bouts.

Cortez fight scheduled
Jasudavicius will take on Tracy Cortez in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas on Sept. 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius will look to extend her winning streak to three in September. The Canadian fighter is coming off an upset victory over Miranda Maverick, who she beat via unanimous decision. Now, she'll take on Cortez, who hasn't lost a UFC bout yet in her career.

Pulls upset of Miranda Maverick
Jasudavicius defeated Miranda Maverick via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 289 on Saturday in Vancouver.
ANALYSIS
This was a complete effort from Jasudavicius. She and Maverick fought to even terms for a round before Jasmine began to pull away. One of the main reasons for that was the latter's poor fight IQ. Miranda decided to go for ill-timed takedowns and paid for it as a result. Jasudavicius, not known as much of a striker, looked remarkably composed on the feet in winning virtually all the striking exchanges between the two women. A product of Dana White's Contender series, the 34-year-old Canadian has won three of her first four fights with the UFC, all via unanimous decision.
