Scheduled against perfect newcomer
Buday will compete against Shamil Gaziev in a heavyweight fight at UFC 296 in Paradise on Dec. 16, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Buday will have the opportunity to finish 2023 with a five-fight win streak. However, he may face his most formidable challenge yet, a fighter in Gaziev undefeated across 11 pro bouts.

Remains perfect in UFC
Buday defeated Josh Parisian via submission (kimura) at 4:11 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 51 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
In a division full of wild brawlers, Buday fights a bit more under control than most. He went after Parisian here in a major way when his opponent was clearly injured, but he didn't make any mistakes prior, a key when everyone you go up against possesses real power. It's the second submission win of Buday's pro career, both of which have come via kimura. The 31-year-old Slovakian is 4-0 in the UFC and deserves a bump up in competition his next time out.

Taking on Parisian
Buday will face Josh Parisian in a heavyweight bout at UFC Vegas 78 on Aug. 12, Nolan King of USA Today reports Friday.
ANALYSIS
Buday will enter the card after Parisian's fight with Walt Harris was scrapped. Buday hasn't lost a fight since 2017, and he's currently sitting at 3-0 in the UFC with his most recent victory coming at the expense of Jake Collier, who he topped via unanimous decision. Parisian, meanwhile, is looking to rebound after a loss to Jamal Pogues.

Takes decision from Jake Collier
Buday defeated Jake Collier via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't so much Buday won this fight as Collier lost it, although the end result is the same. Martin had nothing going for the first round-plus, as Jake led the dance and limited Buday's space. Martin never really managed to pick up the pace, but Collier's gas tank quickly evaporated, allowing Buday to inflict enough damage with one-and-done shots to win the final two rounds and take the decision. The 31-year-old Slovakian is now a perfect 3-0 with the UFC, although all three wins have come via decision and all against lesser competition (Collier, Lukasz Brzeski, Chris Barnett). There's not much to be excited about here.

Moved back two weeks
Buday will now fight Jake Jake Collier at the UFC event on April 29, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Buday and Collier were slated to match up at the UFC event in Kansas City on April 15. It's unclear why it has been pushed back two weeks. Buday is off to a 2-0 start under the UFC banner.
