Mercedes' Bottas ended second Friday practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix as the fastest driver, heading his team mate Lewis Hamilton by a narrow 0.027s - with a disgruntled Max Verstappen third for Red Bull, nearly three-tenths off the ultimate pace, Formula1.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bottas was able to leap-frog Verstappen in this session and top the scoring pylon for the second practice Friday. The Finn has been the fastest of the two Mercedes drivers Friday and is looking to capture his first-ever pole position for the Hungarian GP. Bottas will be a challenger for the podium Sunday at Hungaroring.
