Friday's GT Daytona class practice was led by the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo of Vilander, sportscar365.com reports.

Vilander will join Cooper MacNeil in Scuderia Corsa's Ferrari 488 GT3, as part of a GT Daytona class title attack in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Vilander, the reigning Blancpain GT World Challenge America champion, will return to full-time WeatherTech Championship competition in the WeatherTech-backed Ferrari, sportscar365.com reports.

Risi Competizione has confirmed that it will return to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTLM field in next month's Motul Petit Le Mans season finale. A driver lineup has not yet been announced, although Sportscar365 understands that recently crowned Pirelli World Challenge SprintX champions Vilander and Miguel Molina are in contention for two of the seats.

Vilander and James Calado will complete Risi Competizione's GT Le Mans class lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, joining fellow factory driver Alessandro Pier Guidi in the team's No. 62 Ferrari 488 GTE, sportscar365.com reports.
