This article is part of our Fantasy Premier League Rankings series.
The 2019/20 Premier League season officially kicks off this Friday, and my expectation was that today's updated rankings would be the last one before then. However, there are still a number of transfers still to be made, both into and out of the Premier League, so we'll likely be updating the sheet throughout the week to ensure we don't leave anyone valuable out.
As you'll see below, we did not agree on the same top 201, as we combined for a total of 254 unique players. In the instances of a player being ranked by one of us and not the other, an average was taken between whatever the player was ranked and 254. For example, I ranked Aston Villa's Matt Targett 182nd overall but Mike did not rank him, so his overall rank shows as 218.0 (the average of 182 and 254). Additionally, every column in the table is sortable, so you can still get a clear breakdown of our overall and positional rankings.
And before we jump in: we have a new tool on the site that helps put our season-long projections into perspective for draft games. The custom rankings page allows you to input your league's scoring settings and it will sort our projections based on fantasy points within that format. It's a great tool as a cheat sheet during a draft, or it can give you a good idea of how the players will break down if you're looking to start a league with your own
