Agnieszka Radwanska

35-Year-Old
Announces retirement
November 14, 2018
Radwanska announced her retirement from professional tennis Wednesday, stating, "Unfortunately I am no longer able to train and play the way I used to, and recently my body can't live up to my expectations."
ANALYSIS
Radwanska finished her 2018 campaign a little earlier than normal due to a foot injury that she had been dealing with for quite some time. The 29-year-old wound up winning 20 singles titles over the course of her 13-year professional career, though she wasn't able to capture an elusive Grand Slam title, coming the closest as a Finalist at Wimbledon in 2012. Radwanska reached the ranking of world No. 2 shortly after that Wimbledon final and sported a career record of 594-269 in singles play.
