Mavericks Defeat Spurs, 115-104
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the visiting San Antonio Spurs, 115-104, at American Airlines Center on Wednesday.

While this game was tied 95-95 with 7:56 remaining, Dallas went on a 17-4 run across the next seven minutes to take control. That actually gave them a game-high 13-point lead, with neither club ever leading by more than seven points for the first 40 minutes. That capped off a 63-45 second half in favor of the Mavericks, taking 12 ties and 14 lead changes to determine a winner. Dallas dominated the boards, out-rebounding San Antonio, 51-30. In addition, the Mavs shot 52 percent from the field while holding the Spurs to just 46 percent shooting. They also out-assisted San Antonio, 29-18.

The Spurs (18-15) were led by DeMar DeRozan, tallying 30 points, 11 assists and four steals. Keldon Johnson collected 12 points and four rebounds. Dejounte Murray accrued 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Patty Mills led the bench with 14 points while Rudy Gay provided 13 points, nine rebounds and two steals.

The Mavericks (19-16) got another triple-double from Luka Doncic, tallying 22 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Kristaps Porzingis finished with 28 points and 14 rebounds on 11-of-17 from the field. Josh Richardson generated 12 points, two rebounds and four assists. Maxi Kleber also had 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

Dallas has to play the second half of a back-to-back set on Thursday, facing the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. As for San Antonio, they return to action on Friday in a home matchup with the Orlando Magic.
