Pistons and Wizards Face Off in Nation's Capital
The Detroit Pistons take on the Washington Wizards at Capital One Arena on Monday afternoon.

The Pistons (16-27) continue to endure plenty of adversity as the season unfolds, but they'll check into Monday's contest sporting a rare two-game road winning streak. Their most recent success came against the Atlanta Hawks, which they decimated by a 136-103 score Saturday night. Derrick Rose paced the Pistons with 27 points, adding nine assists, two rebounds and one steal. Sviatlov Mykhailiuk followed with 25 points, complementing them with three assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block. Markieff Morris poured in 22 points. Andre Drummond generated a 16-point, 17-rebound double-double that also included three assists, five steals and one block. Langston Galloway provided 14 points, four assists, three rebounds and one steal.

The Pistons will continue without Luke Kennard (knee) and Blake Griffin (knee) on Monday. Reggie Jackson (back) and Khyri Thomas (foot) are expected to remain out as well.

The Wizards (13-28) have put together a serviceable 3-3 record over the last six games, but they'll check into Monday's contest reeling from four losses in the last five contests. Their most recent stumble was a notable one, as they dropped a 140-111 decision to the Toronto Raptors on Friday night. Troy Brown, Jr. led the Wizards with 22 points, adding eight rebounds, one assist and three steals. Isaac Bonga generated a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included one steal. Bradley Beal posted 14 points. Ish Smith supplied 12 points, eight assists, three rebounds and one steal. Davis Bertans matched Smith's scoring and also totaled two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. Anzejs Pasecniks furnished 11 points and six boards.

The Wizards will continue without Rui Hachimura (groin), Moritz Wagner (ankle) and Garrison Mathews (ankle) for Monday's contest. Pasecniks (ankle) and Jordan McRae (ankle) will likely carry questionable designations.

Monday's game marks the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season. The Wizards own a 2-1 lead, having notched 115-99 and 133-119 wins on Nov. 4 and Dec. 16, respectively.
