Nets Dominate Easily, Secure Win Over Rockets
The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Houston Rockets, 132-114, at Toyota Center on Wednesday evening.

The Nets (24-13) and the Rockets (11-23) played a tight contest since it was James Harden's return to Houston, but the star guard didn't treat it as such and often attempted to carry the Nets to a blowout win. Brooklyn jumped out to a 30-27 lead in the first quarter and quickly boosted their advantage to a 13-point margin following a 37-27 second-quarter score. Brooklyn didn't step the foot off the game and stretched their lead to 16 points after a 34-31 third quarter, and the Nets closed things out with a 31-29 fourth quarter. The Nets won each quarter and cruised their way to a comfortable victory against a struggling Houston team that now has lost 12 games in a row.

James Harden had another triple-double to carry the Nets since he ended with 29 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds, while DeAndre Jordan also chipped in with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Joe Harris had 19 points, while Kyrie Irving contributed 24 points to the winning cause. Bruce Brown had 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while Nicolas Claxton ended with 16 points off the bench. Landry Shamet had 11 points.

John Wall and Victor Oladipo both delivered impressive performances for the Rockets, as they ended with 36 and 33 points, respectively -- both added five assists as well while Oladipo also added seven boards. Jae'Sean Tate had 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Justin Patton and Ben McLemore both had 10 points off the bench. Patton also had six rebounds too.
